Deltek does not own Catina--they own Specpoint, which uses AIA's MasterSpec under license.
Catina is owned by ACD Operations, LLC, which uses AIA Contract Documents under license.

We converted over to MONITOR and figure out how to use the new Cloud system being DEVELOPED the key word rolled out and not all the buggs worked out yet. but it has continually been updated. the latest helpful add is being able to export the document to coordinate or colaborate offline of the cloud, in normal word basis like ACD5 did. now you can reload it similar to the old system and complete. to add more salt to the wood they are saying there is authentication comming. i am waiting with baited teeth to see how this will again disrupt the system. HOWEVER NOTE another big issue is it is a CUT OFF point non of your projects will transfer, you will have access to SEE but you cannot correct or modify. all modifications will need to be in the new system. So another issue of the change in technology. in short do not worry you can NOW change to the cloud system and function the same as ACD5 did, i think the cut off for ACD5 was end of Feb. not sure if they exteded that date...

To All:
Our firm has used the AIA ACD5 software for contract documents for many years. AIA is converting to a new software platform called Catina. We have experiences MANY issues with the software to the point where we are still using ACD5 while the issues are being resolved. Are there others having similar issues with the new Catina software for AIA documents?
