    Hi all,

I wanted to share an upcoming AIASF program that may be of interest to the Housing and Community Development community, particularly those interested in how public works agencies support housing delivery, infrastructure coordination, and development review.

Public Works: Accelerating Development with IDP
    Tuesday, June 9
    9:30 AM – 10:30 AM Pacific
Center for Architecture + Design, San Francisco
Online viewing option available through registration

The program will focus on San Francisco Public Works' Bureau of Infrastructure & Development Permitting, known as IDP, and its role in coordinating public infrastructure, permitting, interagency review, project delivery, and acceptance of public improvements.

The discussion will address how Public Works supports major development and housing initiatives, including coordination among City agencies, developers, consultants, and project teams. While the program is San Francisco-specific, the broader topic may be useful to practitioners interested in the relationship between housing delivery, public infrastructure, right-of-way impacts, and agency coordination.

I have been helping organize the program through AIASF's Small Firms and Public Policy and Advocacy Knowledge Communities. I will provide brief opening remarks and help with the discussion, but the main presentation and Q&A will be led by San Francisco Public Works staff.
