As part of AIA's Spring into Action Campaign, we are doing a number of activities related to housing this week including endorsing and promoting the recently introduced Affordable Housing Credit Improvement Act of 2025 (see more here: https://lahood.house.gov/2025/4/lahood-delbene-bipartisan-colleagues-reintroduce-legislation-to-support-affordable-housing and a blog by Enterprise about the bill here: https://www.enterprisecommunity.org/blog/affordable-housing-credit-improvement-act-2025).<u5:p></u5:p>
As part of this campaign and our support, we are asking that AIA members reply to this discussion post with a "story" about a project that was facilitated by LIHTC. If you have pictures of the project (better if it's with people in it!) we'd love that too.<u5:p></u5:p>
In addition to sharing with AIA, if you have an active social media account and feel comfortable, please consider posting to X, Linked In and/or Instagram this week - mention the project, city, how many people it serves etc. If you post, please friend and tag members of the AIA Advocacy Team - Alexander Cochran, ESQ (https://www.linkedin.com/in/alexander-cochran-esq-148a80116/) and Brittany Meyer (https://www.linkedin.com/in/brittany-meyer-5414a028/) and AIA ( https://www.linkedin.com/company/the-american-institute-of-architects-aia/) in your post.<u5:p></u5:p>
Thank you for your consideration and please feel free to spread the word to others. <u5:p></u5:p>
