Hello Interfaith Design Community!
This week we'll take a look at the Architecture, Culture, and Spirituality Forum (ACSF) and the ACS Forum Channel that offers videos of lectures, architecture, interviews, art, and more that addresses the cultural and spiritual significance of the built environment. Since 2021, ACSF began a discussion among professionals on the Critical Conversations Project. The results were one feature film of the Princeton Sessions, three short firms of the Princeton Sessions, and two webinars linked here: Project Webinar 1 and Project Webinar 2.
Most recently, ACSF has released the "Critical Conversation Project Trailer" and will soon release the feature film highlighting "the call for design professionals to seek, design, and implement holistic solutions to our most pressing problems." The trailer begins with the opening statement: "There is an increasing demand in the world for design thinking, to think about possible futures that are different from the one that we have in front of us."
What do you think needs to change about human development in nature? How can we create habitats that facilitate nature, and how can we best create habitats that "help facilitate Humanity in transcending itself" and take on our current challenges?
