    All are welcome to join AIAS leadership and AIA Higher Education Advisory Team members for an opportunity to create connections and compare notes on how students, faculty, and practice can best support a thriving profession. Topics like mentorship, research, recruiting, and internships will be "on the table".

    All are welcome to this meetup organized by the AIA National K-12 Integrating Design Education through Architecture (IDEA) Advisory Group. You'll relish the company and creativity of AIA K-12 champions, ACE Mentor of America alumni, mentors, and allied groups. The forum will highlight architectural and design education initiatives impacting the nation, and help chapters engage with the public for a new understanding of architecture. Help elevate K-12 architecture and design education through the sharing of innovative, sustainable, visionary, and transformative ideas and best practices.

    This session will feature the cross-disciplinary work of volunteers across Texas and the impact the ACE Mentor Program of America has on students from diverse backgrounds to promote a more equitable profession and inspire our future leaders. Topics will include how a diverse representation of mentors impacts the future of the profession; key situations that advance skills and community leadership; and cultivating mentors and sponsor relationships to empower architects of today and of the future.
