    Notes from the Co-Chairs – Alexis Burck, AIA (SmithGroup) and Sarah Gregory, AIA (Dwell Design Studio)

    The AIA Conference on Architecture & Design is a wrap! Our DFAR18 Award winners have been announced, our open forum is complete and we’ve got some real progress going with our student competitions. The committees hard work is yielding progress. 

    Updates

    ·        EFA Session submittals for 2026 are due by July 18. https://efaconferencecfp.secure-platform.com/a

    o   Save the date for EFA 2026, March 16-18, in Phoenix.

    ·        Student Competition  Our student competition is back up and running, to help us reach future architects early. The website is up, check it out 2026 Design for Aging Competition - Association of Collegiate Schools of Architecture.

    ·        Awards It's official the winners have been announced for Design for Aging Review 18 (DFAR 18). This link will take you to the website for all the details.  AIA Design for Aging Review 2025  Congratulations!
