  • AIA Member Opportunity

    AIA members have an opportunity to serve as occupational experts for the O*NET Data Collection Program, sponsored by the U.S. Department of Labor. O*Net is a widely used career and workforce resource that maintains occupational listings and receives approximately 4 million views daily. 
    O*NET will be updating the job description of "Architect, Not Naval or Landscape" and has contacted AIA to request members participate in this occupational update. The promotion template is linked for reference
  • ArchWeek25 grant deadline is tomorrow!

    Submit the simple ArchWeek25 grant application by end of day October 15 in order to secure funds for your ArchWeek25 activation!

  • Student Design Challenge Training

    October 3, 1-2 ET: AIA K-12 is sponsoring facilitator training for DASHville, a 2-hour hands-on student design challenge focused on designing and building housing that includes sustainability features while working within a budget. Melody Gibson of the Civic Design Center will be leading the training. Once trained, facilitators can offer the DASHville experience to students in their local community. While materials may be purchased on your own, the Civic Design Center offers pre-cut boards and materials for $1000. The Architecture Week grant remains open until October 15 and provides a great opportunity to have your materials covered. Free training + grant to cover materials + plans already created for ArchWeek25! Register here.
