    If you grew up drafting on vellum, then Powercadd, from Engineered Software, may be the easiest to transition to. If you come to it with a cad drafting background, it is still one of the best we've used.

    Thanks to all of you who have troubled yourselves to reply to this inquiry. It has been very helpful.  Powercadd appears to be the clear leader  in the  clubhouse!
