Hello- In response to the question, RE: AIA Document C191 - 2009 who has used, what experience, here is some information I hope you find useful...

There are useful resources available on the Center for Integrated Practice Knowledge Net page (www.aia.org/ipd), including the IPD Guide as well as a commentary on C191, see below. Here's some information on IPD in general and the C191 Commentary specifically:
Integrated Project Delivery (IPD) is a collaborative project delivery approach that utilizes the talents and insights of all project participants through all phases of design and construction. The AIA publishes an Integrated Project Delivery Practice Guide, available at the Integrated Practice section of the AIA Web site at http://www.aia.org/contractdocs/AIAS077630. Additionally, the AIA provides three types of standard form agreements for IPD. The Transitional Forms (A195, A295, and B195) are modeled after existing construction manager agreements and offer a comfortable first step into IPD. The Multi-Party Agreement (C191) is a single agreement that the parties can use to design and construct a project utilizing IPD. Please click http://info.aia.org/aia/commentary.cfm for a commentary on this document. Finally, the Single Purpose Entity (SPE) Agreements (C195, C196, C197, C198, and C199) create a limited liability company for the purpose of planning, designing and constructing the project in a fully integrated and collaborative process. Please click http://www.aia.org/contractdocs/AIAS076706 for a description of each IPD document.
Please feel free to contact docinfo@aia.org with any question about the content or usage of AIA Contract Documents. You can also use the online Knowledge Base (http://info.aia.org/knowledgebase/) to get immediate answers to nearly 250 frequently asked questions (FAQ) about selecting and using AIA Contract Documents. You can find out what you need to know quickly and efficiently by browsing through a multilevel Table of Contents, or you can go directly to FAQs on your subject with an easy-to-use Search feature. You can also find document synopses, commentaries, comparisons, articles and other resources at www.aia.org/contractdocs/reference.

There is a case studies document published a year ago available at http://www.aia.org/about/initiatives/AIAB082049. A supplemental case studies document we will be released at AIA Grassroots, Feb 2-5, and that will be available on the CIP web page once launched. As mentioned previously, you might also look at the IPD Guide available at same address, and the E202 BIM Protocol Exhibit available through the docs software. There are a lot of other useful papers on the CIP page on Knowledge Net (www.AIA.org/ipd), as well.

I encourage you to join the Center for Integrated Practice community and to participate in that forum: to do so, see "join a community" on the FAQ page or Contact Us directly. Note the content is public, so feel free to share with your colleagues! You can also invite them to create an AIA.org account and join the conversation.
Thanks!
