As one that responds helps assess the safety of structures after a natural disaster, I found the restaurant that the team of Sergey Makhno and Vasiliy Butenko had designed for the interior of the Kiev, Ukraine restaurant, Twister was worthy of sharing. The two-story dining area was inspired by rain and, you guessed it, tornadoes.

Just goes to show you that inspiration can come from anywhere, and as Mies said "god is in the details".  Very cool stuff.  I loved the light fixtures that look like rain drops.

What kind of food do you suppose they serve?
