    Hello all -

Wall Street Journal home-and-garden writer Anne Marie Chaker is working on a story about noise in the home, and the creative ways that architects and interior designers deal with the issue of acoustics, particularly in this age of high-ceilings and open-floor plans. Specifically, she is seeking architects/designers who have recent (ie must be in the last year) examples of clients where this issue was addressed, in at least one part of the home. (Examples might range from new technologies such as sliding glass doors, architectural tropes like the slope of a ceiling, creative placement of furniture, layering of carpet, etc etc). The client must be willing to be interviewed, as well.

Anne Marie can be reached at amc@wsj.com
