I brought home a lot of thoughts and ideas (and a great deal of excitement) from the CRAN Symposium. I've just posted a blog through the AIA blog pages on a couple of ideas from other architects which have the potential to help strengthen our communities through design.  Here's the direct link to the blog. http://network.aia.org/CustomResidentialArchitectsNetwork/Blogs1/BlogViewer/?BlogKey=69d0fd46-d61d-4054-b4b8-627caa531bf6

If you're interested in learning more about Robert's or Mark and Jean's ideas, I posted their contact information within the blog (with their permission of course!). You can also leave comments to any blog posted.

    Brenda,

Interesting take-aways from the CRAN symposium in your blog. Those interested in Mark and Jean's ideas for educating the public on basic design may be interested in checking out Maine Home + Design's Design Theory columns.

AIA Maine has partnered with the magazine for the past few years to produce this column for each issue. It's great exposure for the architects and designers who contribute their thoughts and a popular feature in the magazine. The best part is that we didn't have to search out an audience. MH+D has already built an audience that is interested in design. It's a great fit for residential architects especially.
