Let's see if I have this right: our national organization would like us to contact a national news outlet about bad breakups between clients and architects...and this will help our profession how? This request is so wrong-headed it's hard to know where to begin.

Wow. So I'm going to share a situation about the turmoil involved with the personality of a client and a designing professional that went "south", and that'll help potential clients walk into my office how? Come on, do I have to suggest where your head may be!
The dialogue that'll follow from those of us who care about SERVICE, the built environment and how it satisfies
the future (if there is one) client with aesthetics, efficiency and costs, will just distant we small practitioners from the AIA and other organizations who seem to be losing touch with professional reality.

They should suggest doing stories on why these 'bad breakups' occure and how to avoid them: miscommunication, unrealistic expectations, poor documentation.......to name a few
