I'm involved a in a project that may be of interest to AIA members who are residential architects. The project is The Porch Book to be published by Better Homes & Gardens in Spring 2011. We're seeking good examples of porches from across the country.
* Finished, good-looking, problem solving porches.
* Porches that are part of a facelift, with before and after photography.
* In process, from the ground up step-by-step photography.
* Projects building in Sept. or Oct. that we could photograph in process.
We will include all sorts of porches: portico, full-length, those combined with a deck, multi-season. These need not be remodels; new homes with great porches are welcomed.
Deadline on photos would be Oct. 15.
