Hi CRAN and SPPers -
This reporter has found numerous sources for stories that she is working on via this channel - so thanks to all who have shared their projects for consideration in the past.
Her latest has great potential to position architects as problem solvers so if you have a proect that fits her parameters, please contact her directly and copy me at sfrank@aia.org so I can track for coverage. Also - PLEASE try to limit the file size for images....online gallery is preferable, but lo-res attachments work as well.
I am working on a story about homes rebuilt after major wildfires. We're looking for interesting ways architects have repaired or completely rebuilt high-end homes after a major fire in areas like Southern California, Colorado or Texas (or elsewhere) in recent years. I'm looking for architecturally interesting homes built with some consideration of future fires, etc. Ideally, we'd need to speak with both the homeowner(s) and the architect.
Wondering if you could send out a query on the topic? I'm trying to gather everything in the next two weeks. Got such great response last time...
Thank you again!
