Help CRAN Decorate the Octagon's Holiday Tree!
We invite you to help us represent AIA CRAN by submitting an original, handmade ornament for the Octagon holiday tree.
The theme for the call for ornaments is "Dream House", a reference to the aspirations of the Octagon's architect William Thornton, and reflects the historic events that took place in the Octagon as well as our dreams for the Octagon and work of the AIA Foundation. What a perfect theme to spark some custom residential holiday creativity!
All qualifying ornament submissions will be hung on this year's tree, on display on the first floor of the Octagon in Washington, DC. Each submission will receive a complimentary ticket to our year-end holiday party on December 15. Ornaments will be on display until January 6, 2014, and annually thereafter.
CRAN takes it to the next level!
Be featured on the AIA CRAN website by taking up to two (2) pictures of your firm's submission and sending it to cran@aia.org! There will be a special slideshow on our KnowledgeNet home page featuring the ornament submissions from the AIA CRAN members. Further, all CRAN ornaments posted to the Knowledge.net will be eligible for a separately judged CRAN competition for a $50 gift certificate to the AIA bookstore.
