    Hi all -

    Several weeks ago I posted a query from a Wall St. Journal reporter looking for examples of elevated housing in coastal areas.  She also wanted to talk w/ architects about the challenges posed in those areas in the wake up the upturn of natural disasters.  Thanks to all who offered their time and projects for consideration - the article does include remarks and examples from some who responded to my post. 

    But I think the article does a good job of capturing the approach that architects have been taking to address new challengers via their design expertise.  And bonus - the reporter also cited AIA Home Design Trends Survey data (so a mega thanks to all who participate in that quarterly exercise).
