  • 1.  3-D Client Conversations

I just read an article on houzz that made me think a bit about how we, as designers, communicate with our clients regarding the information we provide to them. In particular, 3-d images. We all know that there are different levels of 3-d images: massing models, conceptual, photorealistic. The more detailed it is, the more time it takes to create.

I'm finding that there's a communication gap between client and designer when it comes to explaining these differences. What are some ways you're presenting this topic/information to your clients? Are they expecting photorealistic even though your agreement says conceptual? How do you explain the differences to them so that you're on the same page?

    Thanks all!
