Wondering if anyone has any information regarding what might be a brand name "Tropicool" - original 1959 plans identify a tar-and-gravel roof as "Tropicool with 2 inch gravel surface".

I am aware of systems that used a dead flat coal tar pitch roof roof that allowed water to pond to keep a building cool. This seems to be a similar system, using stone mass to absorb heat during the day and re-radiate at night.  There is no mention of this trade name in the 1960 Sweets.
