    The historic Dresden Cathedral appeared to "breathe with light" to mark the 70th anniversary observance of the bombing of Dresden. 

    Feature story is attached from "Public Art Review"... the only national magazine on public art.

    My office had a chance to see the Cathedral a few years back when they re-dedicated the Frauenkirche in 2005.  The Cathedral is a wonderful structure.  It is work taking the trip to Germany and to Dresden to see these buildings come back to life.  

    The Frauenkirche was a pile of rubble for too many years.

    This is one of my favorite restoration projects ever!  I saw it undergoing restoration when I was conducting dissertation research in 1998 or 1999 and I’m really excited to see how the project turned out!
