Has anyone had any experience modifying contract documents to address the new (Apr 2010) EPA Lead based paint removal requirements for pre-1978 school buildings? I'm particulary interested if you are recommending pre-bid testing of suspect surfaces by owner to reduce surpises during contruction in this area. If you are addressing this in the CD's and having everything included in the general contract, does your E&O insurance carrier look at this any different from including asbestos abatement work in the contract?
