The AIA is soliciting feedback on our BIM and related Digital Practice documents currently undergoing revision, and as you are a knowledgeable individual with vested interest in improving industry outcomes, I'd like to invite you to participate. For a limited time, the draft documents will be available for review and public comment (download here). The updated Digital Practice documents are accompanied by a detailed guide and commentary document that provides an in-depth explanation of the Digital Practice documents on a section by section basis, also available for comment.
Once you have downloaded and reviewed the documents, please be sure to complete the short survey (link included at download) and, if you wish, provide section-by-section comments. The public comment period will close on September 24. Following the open comment period, the AIA Contract Documents Committee will review feedback received and incorporate suggested changes, if appropriate. Your participation in the document review process will help enhance the quality of the final documents.
