    Jeremy,

First, I started with DOS operating system with an IBM PC AT roaring along with that until Wiondows came along and I moved up to faster and faster PCs and struggling along with different versions of Windows.  I did not struggle as much with windiows as AutoCAD 13 did.  They found out you just couldn't shoe horn dos code into windows and make it work.  I have always been with a CADD software that I found back in 1983 that had a menu that called things what the drafter and Architect called items they wished to draw by their common names, example: Draw, Line or Draw 2 Lines, etc.

There are other operating systems that work very well and have MSOffice look-a-likes, at the moment I can't recall it. however, you are welcome to contact me direct if you wish.  This month makes 28 years with the same software and it really fits the bill and it is less expensive.

I hope you get better responses that mine,

    GOD Bless & be Safe,

    John
