Autodesk's Revit Central Server and Graphisoft's BIM Server - Who hosts and pays for service?

This message has been cross posted to the following Discussion Forums: Dedicated Extranets (aka B2B Project LAN or bimCloud) and Technology in Architectural Practice .
    -------------------------------------------
With Autodesk's Revit Central Server and Graphisoft's BIM Server, the task of integrating distributed teams is simple. But who will step up to host a project's Revit Central Server and/or ArchiCAD BIM Server? Is this the Architect? Contractor? Owner? AIA's Design/Build and Integrated Project Delivery Agreements describe "Dedicated Extranets" as an additional service provided by either the Architect or Contractor. Should our agreements also include the Owner as a potential provider?

    Question:
If a Chief Administrator (ie Owner, Architect or Contractor CIO) could use a GeoBrowser to set up a "bimCloud" account to host a project's Revit Central Server and/or BIM Server, and if this Chief Administrator could enable open access to Sub Administrators (ie Design and Construction Professional Office IT Leads), are you willing to pay for this service?

    David -
In several of your recent posts you've used the term 'geobrowser' in a way I didn't understand.  Can you explain what you mean by that term?

I understand the word to indicate an alternate web-navigation method, using VRML or map-like interfaces, sometimes with a virtual telepresence, to locate content rather than using a chain of hyperlinks.  I think of it in terms of William Gibson's idea of "cyberspace" from Neuromancer or Neal Stephenson's "metaverse."  It appears you have something in mind relative to a server-hosted, or cloud applications, but I don't see the connection.  Can you elaborate?

While we're at it.  When you say "BIMCloud," are you referring to server-based over-the-web applications, as describe by AECBytes here:  http://www.aecbytes.com/feature/2010/BIM_Cloud.html?
