My fellow Architects,
I've been researching Cloud Providers to service Architects, Engineers and Contractors (AEC Industry). These customers (we) use Building Information Modeling (BIM) (and CAD) applications and they (we) require collocated workstations which they (we) can "rent" for the duration of a (our) project's Design & Construction cycle. Workstations can require up to 1 Core + 8gb RAM. For small design/construction projects, there may be 3-5 concurrent workstations. For very large design/construction projects, there might be 12-20 concurrent workstations.
Ideally, a Geo-browser portal will allow a project's bimCloud Creator (first user / chief administrator) to Create / Locate / ID a project's bimCloud and then invite other office's Sub Administrators, via email, to join the project's "LAN-speed" network. These Sub-administrators (eg Architect CIO, Contractor CIO and Owner CIO) would then invite their employees, via email, to join the project's shared "LAN" or "bimCloud." From terminal devices, users could authenticate using a Geo-Browser with "bimClouds" overlaid to identify their "Project LAN Networks" over time.
Does anyone know someone who might be able to build a Geo-Browser + CRM + Security Management System to bring this all together?
