  • 1.  Question About 3D Scanning of Existing Buildings

    Posted 04-28-2011 03:25 PM
I have a project that could greatly benefit from a 3 dimensional scan that is turned into an as-built model of the building. For those of you who have utilized this technology, I am interested in knowing who performed the scan for you and your experience with them. The technology application is so new that I can't seem to find a good source for reliable analysis of capabilities. If you don't feel comfortable discussing a particular firm in an open forum, please let me know and we can discuss your experience in private.

    Thank You,

You might also check out SightLine www.sightlinescan.com.  We haven't used them yet, but they were one of the early players in the 3-D scanning game and seem very capable.
