For whatever it is worth, I continue to have issues with Masterspec:
1. Uneven content. Some sections get into micro level decimal numbering, yet for other sections there is not even a Level One basic specification.
2. The lists of approved manufacturer tend to include apples, oranges, and reptiles yet often exclude the most familiar names.
3. Coordination is made more difficult than it needs to be. Items such as insulation and sealant are specified in dozens of separate sections.
4. I continually find myself fighting with the software. It seems different sections sometimes respond differently to identical computer commands.
