Finding my transcript feels like an "Easter-egg hunt" .....with Turkey eggs.
Too much clutter and not enough precision.

Sure, it's probably my fault, but I'm just saying.----------------------------------------

I agree with Mr. Freimuth.  In world where it is expected that one should be able to, at least at some level, enter a site and find their way around intuitively, our CES reporting site leaves very much to be desired.  It was easier when in was affiliated with the Univ. of Oklahoma.

Can this be fixed?  The current solution is not customer friendly, and if we don't have "customers" (ie. members), then what have we got?

I actually find the new system much easier in getting to my transcript than the older system. I haven't had to do any reporting under the new system yet, so I can't speak to that process. On the whole, I don't find the site to be unintuitive. I was at one of the meetings given by the CES staff to the chapters explaining the new system, and the limitations of the old Univ. of Oklahoma system. I know that we gave feedback to the staff about the system. Not having seen the CE reporting systems used by other professions, I don't know if ours is any better or worse.

I self reported for the first time on the new AIA site the other day and didn't find it too difficult.  But in reading the Forum comments, I looked again to offer to make it simple for all.  Try this --
    1. go to http://aia.learnflex.net/users/index.aspx  and bookmark the site (rename it AIA Cont Ed or similar)
    2. sign in and check "remember me"
    3. pick "Self-report Activities" at the top (or Transcript if you wish to see that)
    4. you'll see a list of activities you've reported in the past and at the bottom, a button to "Add New" or print.
    5. if you're self-reporting a new activity, there follows a series of pages to do so.
    6. the next time you pick the bookmark, you're already signed in (if you checked "remember me") and you're ready to self-report or look at your transcript or look at other options on the site.  Reasonably straightforward.

I tried what you suggested, and after twenty minutes gave up. The link did not take me to the CES login page, but rather to aia.org. I logged in to aia.org and accidentally stumbled on the CES page, only to find out I had to login AGAIN. When I tried that, I received a "Page not found" warning.

    Got any other bright ideas?

Well, phooey!  The link still works for me when it comes back in your message so not sure what that means.
So instead, try this (paste links into your browser if it doesn't work directly from this note).

    1. http://info.aia.org/blast_images/mrkt/CES/datasheet_ces_discovery_signin.pdf
This is a how-to from AIA.

    2. After signing in, you should see a CESDiscovery page with "User: (your name) small red text upper right)
    3. Pick Self-Report Activities (red line near top)
    4. I now see my activities I've self-reported in the past.  If I want to add a new one, pick Add New box lower right.
    5. Pick Transcript (red line near top)
    6. I now see all of my credits, which I can sort by a start and end date to fit a particular jurisdiction's renewal date.

If this doesn't work, you'd better try the AIA Support Center 800-242-3837, select option 3 or by e-mail at AIAMemberCareCES@aia.org.
