In 2012, the AIA will embark on a year of data collection and synthesis to shape the AIA's position at the 2013 NAAB Accreditation Review Conference (ARC). In order to accomplish this effort, we seek part-time assistance in the Design + Practice Team at the AIA national component to oversee the development and execution of an environmental scan and white paper documenting the AIA's position to the NAAB.
Qualifications
We will seek someone who is a graduate of a NAAB accredited degree program, preferably a licensed practitioner, with some higher education experience preferred (i.e., deans advisory board, adjunct teaching experience, etc.), and highly value, but not require, NAAB team experience.
The incumbent will report to the Managing Director, Organizational Strategy + Alliances and will lead the effort culminating in a white paper, aggregating all comments from AIA member and stakeholder groups including Knowledge Communities, the AIA Board, AIA components, AIA representatives to the NAAB Board of Directors and other groups, to be submitted to the NAAB in January 2013.
