I should clarify that when I speak of architecture I am thinking of it as an element in the city design of urban form and its combined impact on our quality of life. I am not thinking of it in the traditional sense of an individual building designed for a specific client. The building is a tactical accomplishment of primary value to a special interest. It adds to a built environment, however, that couldn't be more important to our sustainable future. When architecture is thought of in these terms, and has knowledge to offer, its value will be priceless.
