Several recent NY Times article headlines have referred to the "9/11 Architect", although the articles clarify that he is the "self-described architect" claiming responsibility for the 9/11 strikes in the USA.  I did a double take at first, thinking of all the distinguished architects working on the memorial and the rebuilding of the site.

This is possibly all very unfortunate, but is there any other word that so concisely denotes a person that can develop a vision and then assemble all the requirements and parts to make that vision come to fruition? Of course, that vision can run the gamut from software to a destructive act.

How about "God"? As in: "Code God," "App God," "Network God," "Web God," "Political Strategy God," "Heist God," "Coup God," etc. Since it's politically incorrect to use the word in public with its original meaning, I figure it's up for grabs.
