I would like to take this opportunity to thank David Andreozzi, Mark Demerly, John Isch and the entire Leadership Committee, along with our generous sponsors and all of the other unsung heroes (i.e. Dawn Zuber!) who graciously donate their valuable time and effort into putting events like this past week's CRAN Newport Symposium together. Not only were the classes, seminars, round table events and home tours extremely informative, but the social aspects of spending time with like pears is most enjoyable. Then, to host it in an amazing seaside town like Newport R.I. or last year's Indy Symposium takes it over the top!
For those who have not experienced a CRAN Symposium, I highly recommend that you consider it in the future. Personally, I have not missed an AIA National Convention since the 1990's but for the small practitioner and custom home designer, the CRAN events alone make my yearly AIA fees a worthy and valuable expenditure.
