    All,

    I can certianly appreciate any reaction to "obsure statements" relating to the need (or, lack there of) for Architects' services when permitting Sgl Fam Residential projects in most states.

    Unforetunately, many (or, probably most / "that research may warrant further investigation") states / muni's exempt SFR project requiring use of a licensed "design professional" if the scale is under 10,000SF and no greater than 2 story.

    Those of us who have delivered services and work providing "wood framed" residential projects understand the prejudices and differences regarding this type of practice.

    With that said, keep that pressure up. But note, it's a state by state process...
