Interesting development.
Florida legislature just voted to deregulate a host of businesses in order to cut red ink on books. Could happen in other states as well.
Part of the reasoning is also to invite better talent to compete -- to open Florida's doors to all who are truly capable but can't blossom due to onerous regulations...

Now, as residential architects -- 'inferior exterior descrecrators' -- we are in the same boat with para architects who are unlicensed. Makes sense to me.
