I have been using Vectorworks for about 15 years on Macs and PCs. The good thing about Vectorworks is that the files will go seamless back & forth between the two platforms and the newer versions will import AutoCad files with the formats preserved. The down side is that all the subscripts are lost. V-works will remap the lineweights if you have the creators pen assignments but if you want to work on imported files or vice-versa there is a learning curve. I've worked on both cad programs and, for architectural drawings, I think V-works is far superior.
