I had no plans to comment on Eric and Rand's issues, until I saw the comments on exterior flashing. Anyone who does not cover this issue at least in General Notes within a jurisdictional submission is a damn fool asking for it, The reason you can do better financially on an addition than a custom house is the number of issues, options, and choices are greatly reduced; and in custom exponentially expanded. Custom will test your mettle. If you can get enough additions, more power to ya!
