    Re: the Barbie House design competition (Barbie Mattel, not Klaus Barbie), it is a little curious that the jury is composed of grownup architectural types rather than kidlets under the guidance of adult designers.  Nice promo on Mattel's part, anyway.
     
    I wonder if ordinary baby dolls are still popular - with girls?  Ah, well; social evolution continues despite my sarcasm and general sniping from the sidelines.  Work can now begin on programming a house for other fictional characters such as Pippi Longstockings, Harriet, Wonder Woman, and Sarah Palin.

    My daughter, 11, wants me to work w/ her on an ideal design for Barbie.  We have done many fairy houses together and this becomes an extension of that collaboration.  Not to mention the fun of watching her creative ideas.
