    The architectural critique in the age of the declining newspapers, the redefinition of journalism and the blurring lines between reporting, activism and selling. The slow death of the daily print paper all across this nation is accompanied by steady lamentations of the shrinking reader pool. A particular gripe concerns the demise of the art critic, the theater critic and, yes the architectural critic. This erosion of the arts and culture pages has crept from third tier newspapers such as the Lexington Herald, which has long become a caricature of a morning paper, to venerable publications like the Baltimore Sun and finally didn't even stop at the flagship of newsprint, the New York Times.
