Appointment Sought for Governor's Chair in High Performance Energy Practices in Urban Environments
The Governor's Chair in High Performance Energy Practices in Urban Environments is a joint appointment between the College of Architecture and Design and the Energy and Environmental Sciences Directorate at the Oak Ridge National Laboratory (ORNL). The person who will occupy the Governor's Chair will lead applied research in energy performance and environmentally responsible design for new and existing buildings and communities. This is a full time appointment with the potential for becoming a tenured faculty position with the University of Tennessee Knoxville. Professional service firms may also submit their qualification for this position with the understanding that a designated leader or principal fulfilling the professional requirements will be supplemented by professional staff.
