Maybe complementing Drew's entry about parkelts in public right of ways, I want to link my own blog about open spaces here. It addresses how open space is often nothing more than leftover space when it should be a place making element on almost any scale. I provide an example of open space evaluation and mapping that an urban land trust in Baltimore County is currently testing.

I am searching for examples of open space planning language for PUD's. In the past, our township has had a PUD ordinance that discussed connectivity of open space and also defined open space as not including green belts.  Does anyone have examples they can send to me?
    thanks
