I am writing to ask for your assistance. We need your help to identify AIA Member success stories for the 179(d) Tax Deduction for Energy Efficient Building Design. We are looking for AIA Members and firms that we might showcase at the AIA Convention in New Orleans and on the AIA website.
We are seeking AIA Architects and firms who have used the 179(d) Tax Deduction for Energy Efficient Building Design. If you know of a member Architect who has designed a project where the tax deduction helped make the project more feasible, or perhaps you know a member Architect who received the tax benefit after completion of a public project, then please give us their name and contact information. We want to tell their story to our membership.
The 179(d) Tax Deduction for Energy Efficient Building Design is a powerful tool. It can benefit our members both directly and indirectly. We want to showcase success stories as a means of creating member awareness of the program. You can help us help our members! For more information or to submit, please visit: http://www.aia.org/advocacy/federal/AIAB087564?dvid=&recspec=AIAB087564
Thanks in advance for your assistance in this effort.
Sincerely,
Bill T. Wilson II, FAIA
