I never met Betty personally but I immensely enjoyed the column she wrote at F&F (that I followed 'religiously' over many, many years) ... It was something I always looked forward to read (in fact, I checked first before anything else in the magazine). So, after so many years of reading her writings, I felt that I knew her very well and could almost hear her talking to me directly ...
I like so many others will surely miss her presence, wit, insight, and being. What remains with us, however, is the great inspiration that she always managed to leave us with ... And thru it, she will continue doing her work on this earth for many, many years to come ...
