This Excel workbook is for Materials Pledge Product-Level reporting.
Firm- and Project-Level questions are found in the OpenWater online reporting platform. This workbook file will be uploaded to the reporting platform to record Product-level responses.
Please submit one workbook per firm. Every row is tagged with the project name, so multiple projects can be entered in the same worksheet, up to row 200. If additional rows are needed, you may duplicate the worksheet Product Questions_RY25.
IMPORTANT: Please do not alter the format of this spreadsheet. Any additions, deletions, or changes to formatting and structure will invalidate responses.
IMPORTANT: To preserve the macro functionality when saving out this workbook, please select "Save As" and select "Excel Macro-Enabled Workbook (*.xlsm)." To avoid issues, the file should always be shared and opened as an Excel Macro-Enabled Workbook.xlsm.
- Only 5 columns allow manual data entry. These are A - Reporting Firm Name, B - Project Name, C - Project Number, E - Other Product type, and G - Individual Product Code / Label / ID.
- Use dropdown responses only to answer questions. Please do not alter these fields, or responses will be invalid.
- Important: Some questions prompt you to "select all that apply". These questions allow for multiple responses to be selected within a single cell! When multiple responses are appropriate, select each appropriate option in turn. The cell will update with each response in series, separated by commas. If an error is made in selecting multiple options, click out of the cell. Then re-click the cell and press delete to remove all selections and begin again.
- When the answer "None" is required, it should be the only response selected.
- Two methods are provided for reporting Product Type approach in column F. Reporters may use a combination of Options 1 and 2 within the same project.
- Column F "Option 1. Summarize: I am summarizing all the products used within this product type (i.e. 1 row represents 10 products)" allows a general response for an entire Product Type. When Option 1 is selected, the reporter should fill out all relevant columns, and then use the dark grey columns to characterize the quantity of products in that Product Type to which the relevant information applies.
- Column F "Option 2. Itemize: I am listing each product separately on the spreadsheet (i.e. 10 products = 10 rows)" is for Product Types in which data will be entered for each product individually, covering all products in the Product Type. For example, if there are 3 types of acoustical ceiling on the project, enter 3 rows. Column G allows manual entry of a Product Type code such as ACT1, ACT2, etc, for internal reference. When Option 2 is selected, the reporter SHOULD NOT respond to the dark grey columns within that row.
