Design for Aging (DFA) encourages its members and visitors to learn about the various task forces established through the Mayer-Rothschild Foundation. The Low Vision Task Force presented a session at the 2017 Environments for Aging (EFA) Conference that highlighted current low-vision research efforts, including development of the LVDC's Design Guidelines for the Visual Environment released in 2015, as well as plans to evolve the Guidelines into a reference standard.
