My name is Tilghman Shamer III (Trey) and I have been selected to attend the "Faster Forward live-event at Build Boston" as one of the AIA Knowledge Scholars. I live in Baltimore, Maryland, but will be able to attend the event “remotely” via my computer workstation. This is just one of the many examples of how technology has changed our Industry and the way we work, and that is also one of the important topics of Faster Forward.
As clients and the economy demand more accurate documents and services in less and less time, it is important to stay on top of the latest technology trends and available tools. This event will delve into the evolving world of architectural services and how they can and should be delivered. Highlighting Building Information Modeling (BIM), Integrated Project Delivery (IPD), and Energy and Environmentally Friendly Design, this full day of presentations promises to be informative and relevant.
This event takes place on November 17th, from 8:30 am to 7:30 pm (eastern). Keep an eye on the AIA Knowledge Net TAP Discussion Forum and Blogs and check out the schedule here http://network.aia.org/CenterforIntegratedPractice/Home/FasterForward2011/SpeakersandSchedule/.
For you those of you who are on Twitter, I'll be tweeting from my account (@TilghmanIII) along with several others during the conference. You can follow all the conference tweets by using its hashtag (#FasterFW).
Sincerely,
Tilghman Shamer III
