"Ichi go Ichi e" a Japanese proverb that roughly translated means "to treat each encounter as if it is a once in a life time opportunity". This thought crossed my mind as I was informed that I would be awarded the AIA Knowledge Scholarship for the Crafting the Future Conference in Japan. My thanks to the AIA for this chance. Let the preparations begin! I am excited and looking forward to working with the AIA staff and my fellow scholar to help disseminate the knowledge from the Conference.
