Richard: Thanks for your encouraging words on small firms doing federal work. I am a sole practitioner that has done virtually nothing but municipal (predominantly) and state work. Just last week I was speaking to a colleague about how natural it would be to carry that experience into the federal arena. My natural hesitation, however, was that I was too small. I believe I will give it a try now!
Can you briefly provide a few tips that will steer me (and maybe others like me) in the correct direction to get things started. I know that completing a 254/255 in the past was the thing. Is that still valid, or has the process taken a turn? Any help would be appreciated!
