CRAN Symposium...so far...
Recommend
For those of you who were unable to attend this weekend's symposium, I'll attempt to fill you in on what you're missing!
1. The Miller House in Columbus, IN. Recently opened for tours, it's a house designed by Eero Saarinen in the 1950s. The entire landscape was also designed by landscape architect Dan Kiley who helped Saarinen with the gardens around the St. Louis arch. There are several buildings in Columbus, IN that are all designed by famous architects - so if you're in the area be sure to take a trip through town. Don't bring your camera to the Miller House though...no photography allowed inside or out. Follow this link to the official site to take a peek at it.

2. Over 90 people have checked in to the Symposium with addresses from New England to Hawaii. Although I've been told that I am the only, and first, person from Iowa to attend.
3. These architects know how to have fun...! Someone should've warned me that I needed to bring an extra shot of energy to keep up with this enthusiastic group! Many seem to know one another from past events, but they have all been VERY warm and welcoming to any new people - so mark your calendars now for next year's event.
