I was fortunate enough to be given a scholarship this year to attend the upcoming CRAN symposium in Indianapolis. If you have not yet taken a look at the schedule for the symposium, I'd urge you to check it out now! My interest in attending the conference was because of the great schedule of topics that the committee put together. There's a nice mix of technical items like lighting control strategies and rain screen construction as well as business topics such as marketing information on photography and web media. This is in addition to a couple of tours and some great dinner networking opportunities.
I've seen the Grand Canyon and Niagra Falls, but I've never been to Indianapolis - have you? I would consider this conference as a great reason to go. The discounted registration rate is only available through September 30th. As a bonus, those of you who need LU's can gain over 14 just by attending.
Over the next couple of weeks I'll be using some of the AIA networking tools to posts some thoughts and questions on architecture and residential design. For those attending the symposium, I look forward to meeting you in person. For those who have yet to sign up...act fast, time is running out!
