Thank you to everyone who attended the U.S. Climate Heritage Policy in the International Context event on October 4 at Georgetown Law! Over 150 participants joined us, including speakers from Europe, South America, Indigenous nations, and various NGOs, to discuss how the U.S. can learn from global experiences and leverage Indigenous knowledge to protect cultural heritage from climate change.

Georgetown Climate Center's Faculty Director Peter Byrne emphasized the importance of diverse perspectives in developing innovative solutions for protecting people, buildings, and cultural heritage. ACHP Chair Sara C. Bronin also welcomed attendees from various sectors, including federal agencies, local policymakers, and advocates.

For those who couldn't attend or wish to revisit the discussions, the event recording and presentation slides are now available. Thank you for being part of this important conversation!
